You know what’s sad?
When things are going great for the Sharks, everyone is happy obviously and act as if the Sharks are the best team in the league, and conversely, when things aren’t so hot for them, people tend to blow it way out of proportion. People need to realize that even bad teams have good games and good teams have bad games. You can’t change the fact that we lost to Columbus. The thing about the NHL is there’s never an easy game, never. You can’t go into a game, even against the worst team in the league, and expect to easily walk away with a win. At some point in the season, each team will have its highs and it’s lows. It’s guaranteed. The only thing constant in life is change. You can’t expect a team that’s playing really well to continue to play well indefinitely and you can’t expect a team that’s been playing really poorly to continue to play poorly just because it’s convenient. Personally, I’m happy the Sharks lost this game. It was a wake up call to the coaches, players, and the fans as well. With a loss like this, the coaches and management maybe picked up on who they could afford to let go. Players realized that they can’t relax even against a team like the Blue Jackets, especially this late in the season when points are so crucial. And fans learned that winning and losing are all part of the game. Give it time and things will change. I can guarantee that.
